India's Waqf Amendment Bill: Echoes of Division, Shadows of History, A Waqf's Cry
All India Majlis Ittihad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Owaisi sahib is in tears in the Indian Parliament (Assembly) when the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed. The bill poses a serious threat to the waqf properties of Muslims, including mosques, Madaris, Eidgahs, graveyards, and shrines.
Thanks to Quaid E Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Founder of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who led us to independence with a clear vision stated in his historic words:
"Muslims who are opposing Pakistan will spend the rest of their lives proving loyalty to India."
Following incidents are just a few testimonials out of a haunting dark history of Indian oppression, tyranny, and exploitation.
- Waqf Amendment Bill
- Construction of Ram Temple on premises of demolished Babri Mosque
- Revocation of Article 370
- CAA
Echoes of Division, Shadows of History, and A Waqf's Cry
A whispered prayer, a trembling hand,
In parliament's halls, where shadows expand.
A nation's heart, with sorrow weighed,
In parliament's halls, where shadows expand.
A nation's heart, with sorrow weighed,
As ancient trusts are now betrayed.
In halls of power, a leader's tear descends,
For Waqf's sacred trust, a future it portends.
Owaisi Sahib weeps, a sorrow deep and vast,
As the Bill is passed, a shadow it has cast.
Owaisi Sahib weeps, a sorrow deep and vast,
As the Bill is passed, a shadow it has cast.
A leader's tears, a silent scream,
As dreams dissolve, a fading gleam.
Mosques and lands, a heritage untold,
Now threatened by a law, both stark and cold.
As dreams dissolve, a fading gleam.
Mosques and lands, a heritage untold,
Now threatened by a law, both stark and cold.
A voice from history, a vision clear and bright,
Quaid E Azam's words, now piercing through the night.
"Loyalty's long path," a prediction he gave,
For those who turned their gaze, a nation to not save.
"Loyalty's long path," a prediction he gave,
For those who turned their gaze, a nation to not save.
The stones of Babri Mosque, where a temple now takes hold,
A wound that festers, a story to be told.
Article's undoing, a region set adrift,
Citizenship's new lines, a painful, bitter gift.
Article's undoing, a region set adrift,
Citizenship's new lines, a painful, bitter gift.
The Waqf's amendment, a tremor in the soul,
Possessions slipping, beyond their own control.
Oppression's echo, in tyranny's harsh decree,
Exploitation's shadow, for all the world to see.
Possessions slipping, beyond their own control.
Oppression's echo, in tyranny's harsh decree,
Exploitation's shadow, for all the world to see.
From tear-stained cheeks to whispers in the air,
A community's anguish, a burden hard to bear.
The weight of history, a present filled with dread,
For Waqf's lost legacy, and futures left unled.
A community's anguish, a burden hard to bear.
The weight of history, a present filled with dread,
For Waqf's lost legacy, and futures left unled.
