27th Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 1366 AH: The Blessed Foundation of Pakistan
Pakistan was established on the auspicious night of 27 Ramadan 1366 AH, coinciding with the sacred observance of Shab-e-Qadr. This pivotal moment occurred on the night of 14th August 1947.
Notably, the subsequent day, 27 Ramadan 1366 AH, which marked the inaugural celebration of Pakistan's Independence journey, was a significant Friday, Jumatul-Wida.
Today, we observe the same revered night of 27 Ramadan, now in the year 1446 AH, which also falls on Jumatul-Mubarak, a blessed Friday, corresponding to the 28th of March 2025 according to the solar calendar.
By the reckoning of the Hijri calendar, eighty lunar years have transpired since Pakistan's inception, while approximately seventy-eight years have passed according to the solar calendar.
On this night of profound virtue, we earnestly pray to Allah Almighty to safeguard Pakistan, bestow upon it enduring stability and eminence, enrich it with all that is good until the Day of Judgment, and protect it from all forms of evil and harm. Amen!
